From the Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA)


•The Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix is open and fully operational. American Airlines is expected to resume flights to HERA tomorrow, September 12th.

•The Cyril E. King Airport received extensive damage during Hurricane Irma. CEKA is only open to emergency relief flights. VIPA is currently conducting assessments and cleanup, with a tentative date of September 16, 2017, to resume daily commercial flights to St. Thomas.

•VIPA continues to encourage the public to call their respective airlines to verify flight information to and from the territory:

Update 9/8/17 9:30 AM EST


The Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix is open and will receive its first commercial flight (JetBlue Airways from San Juan, Puerto Rico) today, September 8, 2017. Reports indicate that the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas will not be open for commercial traffic before the next weather system passes the area this weekend.
